Everything in One Unit.
At the heart of the DDU5 is a 5-inch 60Hz high-res 350-lumen display embedded in full 6061 laser-engraved aluminium. The display is surrounded by a 3 | 12 | 3 LED configuration — using BavarianSimTec's own engineered tempered Gorilla Glass for perfect LED diffusion with no hotspots. The MagicArm gives endless positional freedom. The rear USB-C connection is plug and play with SimHub — no drivers, no complicated setup.
At a Glance.
We Present the MagicArm.
The fully aluminium MagicArm gives you total positional freedom — left, right, up, down, side to side. Adjust the DDU5 to exactly the right angle and height for your driving position in seconds. When you don't need it, the MagicArm lets you fold and hide the DDU5 out of the way in under 10 seconds. Mounts directly to standard aluminium profile rigs via the included slot nut.
Endless Connectivity.
The DDU5 rear panel has everything covered — USB-C connection to your PC, a dedicated BeaconLight port, BeaconLight mounting option, an additional mounting point, and a physical on/off power switch. Clean, purposeful, and completely thought through.
Combine with BeaconLights.
Expand your peripheral vision with the optional BavarianSimTec BeaconLights. Two external LED modules with 2x 9 RGB LEDs each connect directly to the DDU5's dedicated BeaconLight port — no extra USB port required. Configurable in SimHub for spotter blind spot warnings, flag signals, ABS/TC activation, and more. Don't miss another car in your blind spot.
Works With Your Setup.
The DDU5 connects via USB-C and is completely wheelbase-agnostic — it works alongside Asetek SimSports, Simucube, Fanatec, VRS, MOZA, and Simagic setups with no compatibility issues. Software support covers SimHub, JRT, and Z1 Dashboard, giving you full flexibility over your dashboard layout and data sources.
Every Angle.
