Chief engineer

Part time or full time

About the ROle

Take ownership of the technical backbone of Clutch Racing. As Chief Engineer, you’ll be responsible for the performance, reliability, and ongoing development of all simulator hardware across the venue. From initial builds and upgrades to troubleshooting and fine-tuning, you’ll ensure every rig is running at its best and delivering a premium on-track experience.

In the early stages, you’ll also be part of the wider crew — supporting day-to-day operations on the floor, assisting guests, and helping keep sessions running smoothly. Alongside this, you’ll play a key role in the e-commerce side of the business, contributing to simulator builds, order fulfilment, and stock management.

As the venue grows, the role will evolve to focus more heavily on hardware performance, technical systems, and continuous improvement across both the venue and retail operations. You’ll be instrumental in maintaining quality, minimising downtime, and helping push the overall experience to the next level.

This is more than a technical support role. It’s an opportunity to take ownership of a high-performance environment and be a key part of building something from the ground up.
